COLMAR:market
This building serves as a parking lot, except on Sundays, when it transforms into a market. In the past, it was open every day, receiving food from towns around Colmar. The green illumination, which was uncommon at the time, symbolizes fresh produce. As technology advanced, the use of colored lighting in historical buildings emerged as a method of representation. Previously, the dominance of yellow and white hues in historical monuments was not a choice of representation but rather a limitation of available technology. We used the warmer façade tone to enhance the contrast.
